As you might have guessed, family related.

Laugs Bouwmeesters is founded by my brother Emmanuel, including the architectural heritage of my father, who as architect is renovating cultural monumental buildings in the region of both belgian and dutch Limburg since 75'.

Also my brother Thomas, expert in crafts like clay-stuc and tadelact, is following this path.

Craftsmanship with the use of ecological materials like wool, clay, hemp, wood, chalk and strow to create high end living comfort.

At the age of 4 the (unpaid!) labor started, and still working for all of them on self-employed base, besides other renovating projects.
